  • Hello,

Have you installed a security software after re-installing your OS? If yes then disable it and check results.

Please run ipconfig on your computer to check that you have correct IP settings.

If this does not help, I would recommend installing latest NICs updates and checking results.

If the problem persists, I would recommend contacting your manufacturer Technical Support for assistance.

  • i've checked my device manager but there's no yellow sign. i've try reinstalling my driver for the network card but it says pls insert/reinsert the card. for your info i'm using Acer Aspire 4540.

I see that Acer support (support.acer.com) offers no drivers for download for the Aspire 4540. The specifications that they list for it are also a bit weak on details. That makes it difficult to suggest download locations for the proper drivers.

You may have to consult Acer.

  • Go into the Device Manager control panel. Are there any yellow excalamtion points? (Those indicate drivers not installed.)

If the drivers for your network adapters weren't included in the Windows installation, you'll need to get them in another way. If you have access to another PC, I suggest downloading them from your notebook's manufacturer.
