  • How can I associate it by Resources?
    Thursday, May 22, 2014 2:55 PM
  • In PWA 2010, navigate to the Resource Center, select the resoiurce you want to associate the calendar to, edit resource and set the field Base Calendar to the one you wish.

This can also be done via Project professional, if it needs to be done in Bulk.

  • Is there a way I can import US stats holidays in new calendar and not by manually typing it?

  • Hi Project Help,

There is an app in PS2013 for sync holidays, but I don't think such a tool exists for PS2010.

In case I'm right, you'll have to enter them manually. Anyway note that you can enter recurring days-off. Meaning that you can specify that the canada day will occur on july 1st yearly or even every 3rd monday of may for another day off.

  • thanks I will

so if i add New calendar it will not effect existing resources and projects timings?

Only when I assign resources to that new calendar?

  • Exactly. Creating a new calendar will have no effect unless you assign it to a project or to resources and publish the impacted projects.

  • By Adding do you mean just adding to the enterprise or changing it to the resource calendar

if its just adding it won't have nay impact, but if you change the resource or project calendar to new one it may have impact on the work / duration ...
