COM Surrogate causes lag on my online game(Ragnarok Online) RRS feed

    I've been having lag on my online game called Ragnarok. I tried to find out what's wrong and I noticed that every time I run Ragnarok, I start to have background process called Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation. After a little bit of reading online, I thought the cause of the lag is the COM Surrogate running that(WADGI) background process. I tried to terminate WADGI at the Task Manager and the lag disappears on my game, but my sounds are completely gone. I really want to have my sound while removing the lag. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Thanks.

    Hi,

    This issue can be caused by compatibility or game files.

    I suggest you can test the issue via running this game in Windows compatible mode:

    Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-windows

    If it doesn't work, I recommend you contact the game manufacturer to help check if any related DLL files are required to change to fix this issue.
