    Hello,

    I took a complete BI project, which I realized with SSIS, SSAS and SSRS (2008), to test it in another pc, in the SSIS I didn't have many problems, but in the SSAS I had to create a new data source even if it is the same database (I have attached the old one in SQL Server's new PC), so I created new data source view, now for cubes I do not know if there is a way to change the data source of a cube, so I changed the old data sources by the news, and it will be cool, if not, I have to create new cubes and repeat the above calculated members which is very heavy

    Hello,

    I don't know if I got you right; but in common it's only necessary to change the properties (server name) of the existing data source in a BIDS project; no need to change anything more, as far as the database structure is the same. In datasouce view only the datasource id is saved, not the detailed information of the data source.
