Blank Lookup Tables being applied to local Text fields RRS feed

  • We are using Project Server 2010 SP2.

    We have a common schedule that is kept offline that is shared between Servers.  As such, we put important ancillary data in Text1, Text2, Text3, and Text4.  The contents of these fields is free-form (no lookup tables or formulas) and we have locally renamed the fields.  As part of our process to create an interface to this schedule in a Server we use the Organizer to copy local names Text1 thru Text4 from the common schedule to a schedule on the Server.  What is strange is that the next time we open the schedule that is on the Server we will find that any values that were in Text1 thru Text4 have been wiped clean and Text1 to Text4 have lookup tables with blank values.  This process has been repeated consistently.

    What is causing this and how can we prevent it in the future?
