cannot install projecet standard 2016 RRS feed

    while installing , some intruction appeared  

    setup cannot find office.en-us\officeMUI.msi.

    then im trying to browse file location and warning invalid location

  • Hi,

    It might be due to a 32/64 bits incompatibility. Check that your Project version is aligned with your OS.

    Then searching on internet, you should find a lot of information since this is a common issue:

  • i just try to read link above,and do all that sugestion but none can solved my issue

    fyi, my OS is 64 bit and office have installed office pro plus 2016

    but for project standard 2016 64 bit and its always failed but working on project standard 2013, how?

    need some help

    but when i'm tried to uninstall office pro plus 2016 and then try installing project standard 2016 ,and got failed again

    so i'm got confuss if the problem is mixing between CTR and msi is the problem.

    but,i have downloaded project standard 2013 in VLSC then trying to installing and working completely.

    not for project 2016

  • Is Office Pro Plus 32 or 64 bit? Have you also tried the 32 bit version of Project 2016 install?

  • office pro 2016 is 64 bit

    yeah,i have a try to install project 2016 32 bit but failed because office is 64 bit

    some good news,i have try to uninstall office pro 2016 and installing project standard 2016 32 bit,and working

    but ,how about my office?
    its imposible to change 16 PC/laptop downgrade all office pro  to 32 bit

    any suggestion?

  • You can install the Office Pro Plus 32 bit version, try that.

  • Good to hear you have it working. As your OS is 64 bit there is no reason why you technically couldn't install all 64 bit versions of Office but at least you have it working!
