How to Block Outlook for particular Computer RRS feed

  • Dear Team,

    We need to check that is it possible to block a particular computer that trying to access outlook connectivity to exchange 2019 by using  outlook 2019

    if a computer with hostname Client-01 and ip address 192.168.110.78 trying to establish a connection to Outlook App we need to block that.

    if it is possible please let me know how we can proceed this

  • Hi Aghil,

    You can install a windows feature to add the IP and Domain Restrictions feature in IIS.

    1.  Run the following command as Administrator in Windows PowerShell:

    Install-WindowsFeature Web-IP-Security

    Then go to IIS Manager, we can see the IP and Domain Restrictions feature is added:

    2.  In Exchange 2019, MAPI/HTTP is enabled by default. You can use the following command to check and make sure MapiHttpEnabled is set to True:

    Get-OrganizationConfig |fl MapiHttpEnabled

    3.  Go to IIS Manager > Default Web Site > mapi > IP and Domain Restrictions > Add Deny Entry. Add an entry for the specific IP address, then the user cannot use MAPI/HTTP to connect Exchange with Outlook:
