Product ID/Activation status in servermanager not correct? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    we have 2 servers that recently show activation problems. In server manager the product ID field shows 'not activated' and the desktop turend back: not good! I attempted to resolve this by re-activating the server using slmgr -ato. I got a nice popup stating the Product activated succesfully. But in servermanager it still shows not activated.

    I attempted to clear the licensing state and activate:

    slmgr -upk
    slmgr -cpky
    slmgr -ipk (another MAK key then used before)
    slmgr -ato

    but also no success. I repeated this after restarting the software protection service and  also redid the activation (again 'succesfully') using slui 3, but the issue still is not resolved.

    Where could I find more info (like logs) on this kind of activation issues?

    Anyone experienced this before or know how to resolve?
