Find out from where some Inventory information is comming from

Question
-
Hi,
We are doing a migration from one ConfigMgr version to another. In the old environment we have a view created long time ago by an unknown person; it gathers some data about an application. I looked into the MOF file and could not locate anything about it. The same about Hardware Inventory Client Agent and Software Inventory Client Agent.
Does anyone know how can I found where that data is coming from?
Thanks!

Did you also check configuration.mof?
Are there any scripts running as advertised packages or any other advertisements that might be gathering the data?

SMS_DEF.MOF from \inboxes\clifiles.src\hinv
It's a SMS 2003 if this matters

Per your question about scripts, I started looking again for some keyworks in thousands of packages and found two that I think might be the ones I need.
Thanks for the hint!

It's definitely a needle in a haystack. Hopefully you found the source.
