Postmaster Messages (NDRs) for two domains and Exchange 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm in the process of setting up a new Exchange 2010 server.  However, I have two domains. DomainA and DomainB.  Exchange will be installed in DomainA (trusted) with an additional smtp added for DomainB.  How are NDR's handled?  If I have a message sent to domain B, and an NDR is sent to the sender (outside), does the message come from postmaster@domainB.com or would it come from the default domainA that the server was configured for?  I hope I'm making sense here.  thanks.
