Can't update ucupdates.cab for Polycom phones - Not enough space RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We use Skype for Business 2015 and have some Polycom CX600/CX3000 phones.  I want to update their firmware with the latest ucupdates.cab file that I have downloaded.

I removed the old ucupdates.cab that was on the D: and ran this:

    PS C:\Users\username> Import-CsDeviceUpdate -Identity service:WebServer:svr-skype-s4b1.domain.local -FileName "D:\O2\Pol

    ycomUpdates\ucupdates.cab" -Verbose

VERBOSE: Performing the operation "Import-CsDeviceUpdate" on target "Service:WebServer:svr-skype-s4b1.domain.local".

    VERBOSE: Extracting file 'D:\O2\PolycomUpdates\ucupdates.cab...'

    VERBOSE: UCPhone/POLYCOM/CX600/Rev-3/ENU/4.0.7577.4512/CPE

VERBOSE: Error: There is not enough space on the disk.

Import-CsDeviceUpdate : There is not enough space on the disk.

The C and D drives have lots of space free too.

    Thanks

  • The files will uploaded to your fileshare of your Lync enviroment.

You have to look at your fileshare for your FE svr-skype-s4b1.domain.local.
