one loud beep when transferring call RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We are using a audiocodes Msbg 800 and PRI and when we transfer a call there is one loud beep to the caller when their call is transferred. Didn't get a chance to dig into logs yet. Does anyone have a quick idea on this?

  • Hi,

May be something with the MoH or with the call Progress tone configuration?

  • Hi,

Does the loud beep also occur when the caller uses the lync client to call another lync users?

Does the caller can hear the loud beep when the call is held?

  • Sean,

Yes, 1 beep is on transfer and when a call is put on hold and the client has no MOH on defined.

Sounds to me like its coming from gateway. gateway is Audiocodes MSGB 800 and we can't find setting to turn off:

    Per this:
    http://blog.unplugthepbx.com/2011/11/22/lync-music-on-hold-for-aries-and-other-phones/

there is no: Protocol Configuration – SIP Advanced Paramaters — Supplementary Services called “Enable Hold to ISDN” in MSGB800.

someone know how to turn off gateway provide moh on msbg800 gateway?

  • Hi,

I am not familiar with the MSBG800 gateway. If it still have the problem, please try to initialize the gateway and configure it again.
