Lync Phones does not access Calendar RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have some problems with Microsoft Lync phones (CX600, aastra 6725ip):

I can use phone normaly with my lync client. All functions works good

When I shutdown my pc, and then restart cx600 or 6725ip, phone will automaticaly log on server., but ....

when I try open calendar on phone I take message: microsoft exchange is unavailable. Please contact you support team.

On phones I have firmware 7577.250

    I have exchange 2010 sp1

On my phones I can search tel. numbers from AD.

On my lync client I dont have messages about problems with connecting to exchange - but still I have that problem on lync phones. I check that on 2-3 users.

    Thanks a lot for help.

  • If you have a wildcard cert on your exchange web services URL (eg. mail.company.com) then you won't be able to access the calendar from the Lync phones. You may want to check that before you go down the long list of other steps to troubleshoot this issue.

  • I know this is a well dated post, but I am having the issue above and I am using a wildcard cert on exchange. Do I need a SAN cert for autodiscover.domain.com. How would I go about replacing this on the exchange server without stopping owa and the like stopping?
