Installing (FR) Language pack into existing MOSS 2007 farm RRS feed

  • Hi everyone,

    We have MOSS 2007 farm running about 7 applications, hosting personal site, publishing applicateion and team sites application/s. Now my organisation has decided to support French language. We understand the best way is to install FR language pack.

    1. Procedure to follow for install new language pack to the existing farm.

    2. would like to know the impact to existing applications in farm.

    3. Do i have choice to choose the attache the langauge pack

  • Hi Ram,

    You can install language pack to your farm to support French language, and set the application to use French language or the original language, it will not effect your farm environment based on my understanding.

    You can install language pack to your farm to support French language, and set the application to use French language or the original language, it will not effect your farm environment based on my understanding.

    We have farm running MOSS 2007 with SP2. Do i need to install Language Pack + Service pack associated? OR i can directly install Lanauge pack SP2?
