lync 2010 queue timeout sends no caller id to forward number RRS feed

  • When a call sits in queue for a certain period of time and then forwards to external number on queue time out it does not send caller id or even number.  So on my phone it just says Unknown, basically no number was passed.

  • When you set to forward the call to another telephone number, the type of the telephone number should in the format sip:<number>@<domainname> (for example, sip:+14255550121@contoso.com).

    Please you dial the external phone number directly. If not, please try to forward to an internal phone number.

  • The call makes its way to an external number, but when the call makes it to my cell phone it says unknown as it does not pass the caller id or number.
