Code 800F020B Windows Update encountered un unknown error

    "If I may ask, which is the update you are trying to install?

    The error 800F020B signifies that the device, for which the update is being installed, is not connected to the computer at that point of time. So, if you are installing the update for a device, make sure the device is connected and is turned on.

    Did the issue occur on update driver or update Windows?

    If it occurred on Windows update, the exact error occur time is download process or installation process?

    Are there any error codes recorded in the Event Viewer(Windows Logs\Applications, Setup, System)?

    Error code 800F020B means "The device instance does not exist in the hardware tree."

    If the issue occur on update driver, please make sure that all of your devices are connected, turned on, and then try installing the update again.

    To see which device is causing the above problem, you can review available updates before trying to install them - the device name, or the manufacturer will be displayed in the list of available updates.
