Win 10 (home) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Sir, since I updated Win 10 Home  from 7 on startup I keep getting "Organise Your World" asking me to subscribe or up date . I find this Not within my ability  or budget, I also find it impossible to remove from the windows (Outlook .com), so what it means in effect is that I cannot send or view my e-mail .  Could you please rectify this problem or at least enlighten me as to the procedure for at my age I can do without this  (77)

    Regards Peter Cannon

  • Those Win settings are in "Internet Options" set home page, set all to default/security/etc/programs/then

advanced tab/locate "reset to advanced settings" button...Also,edit Win componts, outlook is probably there.

    From that point,restart pc,then in Win,edit firewall/exceptions....

  • Right-click on empty spot of Desktop and select New > Shortcut

In the type the location of the item field enter: https://outlook.live.com/owa/?nlp=1 then click Next

In the Type a name for this shortcut enter whatever you like, then click Finish

This shortcut will open in your default web browser and take you directly to your webmail.

If you have more than one browser, you can also just type or paste: https://outlook.live.com/owa/?nlp=1 into its address bar then press Enter
