Windows Vista Welcome Screen RRS feed

  • I hope someone will be able to answer my question.  Is there a way to remove the haze or blurr from the top half of the user icons in the Welcome Screen (logon screen)?

I hadn't really noticed that before, but your right, there is some kind of 'haze' applied to those pictures on the logon screen?

I'm not sure whether this can be changed or not, but someone else here may have more information.

I do know that there are third party programs that allow you to customize the logon screen, although I don't know if any of these programs can change the behavior of that 'haze' being applied. I have never used any of these products, so I really cannot recommend one.
