Ticket ID based off of Trouble Ticket User Comments RRS feed

  • Question

  • I created a notification that generates a message to the technician when the end user sends in an update via e-mail.  The issue we are having is that we have the subject preformatted to be [Work Item ID], but the subject line comes back as [].  What is the correct variable to insert.  I have used ID under work item, but this is not working.  I used the Information ID but this generated a some code that the technician wouldn't know what ticket.

    $Context/Path[Relationship='CustomSystem_WorkItem_Library!System.WorkItem.TroubleTicketHasUserComment' SeedRole='Target' TypeConstraint='CustomSystem_WorkItem_Library!System.WorkItem']/Property[Type='CustomSystem_WorkItem_Library!System.WorkItem']/Id$

    Any thoughts?

  • I found a solution for this, I had to use Has User Comment, Work Item - ID.  This fixed the blank brackets from coming over.
