Disabled network cards - skipping info (none) in BGinfo?

    Question

  • Hello,

I love BGinfo and one of the fields that is very helpful to me is the IP address info.    However I have many systems with network cards that are disconnected - I usually disable them.   The problem in the ip info line after line of (none) shows up.   Is there any way to have it not put a line for any nics that are disabled or have no IP address?

  • I wrote a bunch of script for this a long time ago. However they were on the old site, I don't know if they transferred here. Search for WindowsStar and see if they come up. -WS

  • Found this - thanks!

I guess that only leaves the question can I somehow do that with the network connection speed so it only shows the active ones.

My ideal info would be the nic name, the ip and the connection speed

    e.g.

    Host Nic1 - 10.10.89.10 - 1gbps

    VM switch1 - 10.10.89.20 - 10gbs

    VM Switch 2 - 10.10.89.25 - 10gbps
