Excel crashing on file close

Question
-
Hi,
I am having ongoing issues with a particular file. Whilst I am able to open and save the file without any problems, when I go to exit the file or or close Excel, the system has a non-specific error, crashes and restarts. It's really frustrating as I am constantly using this file, but because it is large-ish I tend to want to close it when I am working on other sheets. which means I lose all open workbooks when it crashes the program
Log as below - any ideas?
Many thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,
For this particular file crash issue, it is hard to diagnose which is the root of cause it. Could you please provide more information about this file? Does it have any Marcos? Inapplicable formulas or defined names can also cause this issue.
Have you ever try some general methods to narrow down this issue? Like change some formulas to real data, copy worksheets to a new workbook, delete conditional formatting .In addition, you can try the 'Open and Repair' feature to open this file.Wind Zhang

Another thing to look for is add-in interference. Try launching Excel in Safe Mode and see if it still crashes.

Hi Greg,
Having spent over 7 days on a single problem:
Trying to solve why my clients Excel 2010 would crash intermitently on Exit or Close
You may want to try to
UN-INSTALL THE CLIP ORGANIZER
Control Panel>Programs and Features>Microsoft Office 2010>Change>Office Shared Features>Clip Organizer.
It worked for me
Cheers
Steve
