2012 r2 farm (collection) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear reader,

I'm a bit in the dark here, and hope that anyone can help me out.

I'm trying to setup a 2012 r2 rds farm behind forefront uag 2010sp3. I allready found that it works succesfully with a single 2012 r2 rds server. But now I want three rds servers in a collection (or farm, i do not know what the right terminology is in 2012 r2). I tried creating a server group farm.bussiness.local and created a dns round robin entries for all three addresses. The first server is the session broker. I have created a collection with all three servers.

IN forefront uag I created a rds predefined app. In the tab "server settings" in "remote desktop session host" i entered the farm fqdn. And below the fqdn's of al three server.

Is above the right way to do this. I cannot find any docs yet on creating a 2012 r2 rds farm. So it might allready go wrong there.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The actual problem is, that when using UAG it Always wants to connect to the second rds server. Even when i set the second server to "limit sessions = 1" in the collection load balancing.
