Thumbnail Preview not working only in Insert Picture from Word 2007 RRS feed

    My thumbnail preview is working when opening Windows Explorer directly but it isn't when accessing it from Word 2007 > Insert > Picture.

    It used to work.  The attached image shows the direct windows explorer screen (showing thumbnail previews) and the Word 2007 > insert > picture view of the same exact files and folder (no thumbnail preview).  When inserting the image into Chrome the thumbnail preview worked. I think it is specifically not working when accessing from Word.

    I am using Windows 7 Professional.

    Hi Joni,

    Try to click on two places on my screenshot, you need to select All Pictures rather than All Files on the bottom right.

    If still no help, try to repair or reinstall Office.

    Hello Teemo Tang,

    Selecting Large image and all pictures did not work.  Microsoft diagnostic tool did not find anything to repair so I did the uninstall/reinstall and it did work.
