How to limit the max number of windows opened on internet explorer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Does anynone know somehow to limit the number of the windows opened on internet explorer? i discovered a script what, no matter how many tabs you open, always open one process only, causing memory economy but this is not enough because, on large environment where work many users, they open many windows on internet explorer and this cause an excessive memory consumption.

If anyone know, can be a script or GPO or a aplicative I would be very grateful.

    Thanks!

  • Thanks for help me but is not enough because this command let the IE on full screen. What i need was, when the user click on IE icon, if don`t have no window opened, he open one, if already have one open, don`t happen anything and mantains only this window open.

  • Please see if tabbed browsing is what you required; if so, please refer to the document below:

If you want to just allow one Internet Explorer Window opening, I think this may be hard to achieve.

    Thanks.
