Skype for business proxy RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is there a way to route your Skype for business traffic from one proxy to another?we have a problem with internal users connecting to external Skype meetings.

I think it goes through TMG but we want it to go through Zscaler.

    do you have any ideas?

  • Hi woshixiaobai,

Could you provide us the related error message?

As far as I known, if users need to connect to external SFB meeting, the traffic will go through the Edge server. If you have this problem, we suggest you could check the edge setting and the ports.

About Edge server, you could refer to the following link: http://blog.schertz.name/2016/03/skype-for-business-2015-edge-pool-deployment/.

Moreover, Zscaler is not in the Lync Server Support list, you could refer to the following link check the support Reverse Proxy: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dn788945.
