Having problems with OCS/UM after upgrading my CS1000M MG from Rel 5.50J to Rel 6.00R RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm having problems with OCS/UM after upgrading my CS1000M MG from Rel 5.50J to Rel 6.00R. I have hanging toasters, calls go on hold automatically after OCS user tranfers a call to another user. I have been working with Avaya and they don't have any answers. They tell me I have all the correct patches on the CS1000, LINUX servers etc. Is there anybody out there with a CS1000 on Rel 6.00R that OCS/UM dual forking is working so I can look at you setup and patches to find out what is missing or not set correctly?

    TD5150,

It would be good idea to take SipStack log from OCS servers and check whts happening with those calls.

  • I think Avaya's official advice now for CS1K users on v6.0 with dual forking is to move to ACE. Maintenance of the Nortel ICA is completely dead and thus dual forking/RCC with the CS1K is being left behind unfortunately.
