MOSS publishing page- how to create a default layout based page RRS feed

    Hello experts,

    Got a quick question about MOSS 2007. Can you create a page in publishing site using the default page layout (one that has the top, left and right web part zones ONLY), like this:

    I see the Welcome, Redirect and Article layouts OOB, none of which really match the layout of the default.aspx, unless I missed something. I'm trying not to create a layout from SPD. This is for SP 2007. I hope it's something stupid I just missed.

    Hi Samir,

    The closest you get is wither the Welcome Page with Sumnmary Links or the welcome Splash Page. Only, If you dont enter content above the Top, Left and Right Zones then it will look the way your pic describes. If you enter Content like a pic, links, etc then obviously it will change the way the page looks.
