Option to Share PowerPoint has disappeared from all Clients RRS feed

  • All of our on Prem users no longer have the option to Share PowerPoint in a Skype meeting.

    In Conference/ Conference policy Data Colab and App sharing are checked. Been working for many years. WebApp servers are up and running.

    All clients running latest O35 Client for Skype

  • Hi.

    Please check Enable TLS 1.2 on prem Skype for Business Server and WAC, and on Skype Client Windows PC.

    Update to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 as default secure protocols in WinHTTP in Windows

    Preparing to use TLS 1.2 in Office 365

    Did you do some changes in your environment before this issue occurrd?

    Please run the following command to check the value of EnableDataCollaboration and EnableAppDesktopSharing: Get-CsConferencingPolicy, the two value must be set to True.

    In addition, you could try to check the File Share in your Lync environment. If you do some changes about this folder, you need to publish the topology to apply those setting. You also need to check the permission of those folder, you could refer to the following blog to find more details: Breaking Down the Lync File Share
