ServerManager Logs in Application Logs in Event Viewer RRS feed

  • Can we have Server manager (Roles/Features add/remove) events in Application Logs.

    We are already getting them in Setup section of the Event Viewer but can we move some Event IDs or Source like "ServerManager" source in application Logs so that all our relevant logs comes in one Log.

    Kindly help if can have certain event ID part of application Log , which are not already part of it, like the one in sample snap.Is there any command to do so or any changes to regedit.

  • I don't think it would be possible to move core operating system event reporting from one log to another but you may be able to get what you're after by creating a custom view.

    You cannot merge setup Event logs into Application Event as this is by design.
