Few Clients freez often after domain migration RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I have new AD site just migrated from child domain to the root domain , migration process finished successfully but after few days few clients machines experienced freeze behavior until forced restart.

    I tried to trace the process using procmon I had doubt about the below

    lssas process was trying to open ldap and 389 ports on all child domain DCs although up to his level the computer was normal, I have Kaspersky Endpoint 8.

    Computer is joined to the right domain and is being authenticating from the site DC.

    Any clues would be appreciated.

    High LSASS.exe CPU utilization maybe cause this problem. Which server version do you use?

    First thank you.

    This behavior is occurring only on clients side which is windows 7 enterprise/professional not on my domain controller.

    No events is written in event viewer to diagnose I will try to monitor it more with procmon.exe maybe I can find something else.

  • After deep monitoring using procmon I noticed Kaspersky was establishing http call to child domain DC, so I uninstalled kaspersky which solved my problem.

    as a conclusion kaspersky need to be reinstalled after computer migration don't just reinstall the network agent.
