Windows Media Player has stopped working.

Question

Hi, I have a Q6600 with 8GB Ram running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit. Everything was working fine for about 6months, Then one day I went to start the internet and found IE 7 (32bit) not working. I also tried to play a file with media player & it failed to start. I've managed to get IE back up but have had no luck with the media player. I hadn't added any sofware between everything running fine and not. It comes up with "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I've sent the Problem Reports & Solutions to Microsoft, that was over 6 months ago. And had no rply. Below is the "Problem Reports & Solutions".

Thank you, it's really great knowing that there is people out there that can and do help. I know you people at Microsoft get a lot of s--t, so i'd like to be one of the ones to say, "THANK YOU", thank you very, very, much, for helping me. Other than this , i've had no problems with Vista (64), love it and can't wait to see what the future holds.
Cheers, Laurence.
