Not enough space in Application Virtualisation Cache RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

A bit of an AppV Newbie here... (please excuse what might be a very simple question)

When i try and launch a sequenced application (Outlook) as a remote app from a W2K8 R2 terminal server I receive the following error

"There is not enough space in the Application Virtualization cache. REporting the following error code to your system administrator

    Error code: 4604ee8-16d1190a-0000e029"

My Maximum Cache size is set to 4096 and my reserved cache size reports as "2386MB (58%)"

Does that mean 58% free? If it does, why am I getting errors telling me there is not enough capacity?

  • Additionally, you should check if the %Appdata% / SoftGrid Client / <Outlook folder> contains a large .pkg file

  • Hello,

I would say that you have used 58% and whatever you are doing seems to consume more than freely available in your cache.

  • If you increase the size of the cache, does Outlook stream successfully?
