How can I Start Windows Identity Service in Safe Mode? RRS feed

  • I have successfully configured AppLocker in Windows 10 Education.

    Now, User can not access app on normal startup windows as Windows Identity Service running.

    But User can access App using safe mode because Windows Identity Service is not allowed to run in Safe mode

    How can I start Identity service in Safe mode?

    Thanks for your post in our forum.

    If the service cannot start in safe mode, we could have no solutions to make it start. 

    And, why use safe mode? As usual, safe mode is used to troubleshoot.

    Or, you can try other ways to disable the app to see if it helps.

    Thanks for your answer,

    I have already tried your solution (How to Block Applications in Windows 10) but User can access by changing name of exe so that I have moved to AppLocker.

    Do you have any other solution?

    Is there any way can I block Safe Mode in Windows 10?

    How about set the folder permissions for the users, that can not open the file.

    We do not support to disable the Safe mode.
