Applying google analytics code on SharePoint online sites (O365)

Hello,

I am not sure if I am posting to the right forum. If not, please point me to the right place. I am trying to install Google analytics on our company's SharePoint for a finance site. Have any of you done this before? I am guessing you would need to have a google account with the company's email address since it will have access to the site. Any information regarding this is very helpful. I used my companies email and installed google analytics wsps, activated it and then installed code at the site collection level. But it is not working. Am I missing any step?
