RemoveService failed - WARNING message when attempting to install standalone Hotfix package? RRS feed

    Hi All,

    On one of my Servers I am getting the error message below when attempting to install a standalone Hotfix package.

    WARNING: ISusInternal::RemoveService failed, hr=80248014

    Can anybody shed some light on what this error means?

    Hi Darts75,

    What is the OS of the Server you are installing the hotfix, and what is the hotfix you are installing?

    Hotfixes are for specific issues on specific OS, please check if the hotfix is actually applied to the server.

    In addition, you may also run sfc /scannow on the Server to check if there are corrupted or missing system files.
