No Enterprise Voice, Response Group Credentials RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been banging my head on this for a while now.

I have Lync 2010 Enterprise with the following setup:

    Front End Pool: LyncFEPool.contoso.com

    A/V Conference Pool : LyncAV.contoso.com

    SQL Store: LyncDB.contoso.com

    File Store: \\FileShare\Lyncshare

    Monitoring Server: LyncDB.contoso.com

    Archiving server: LyncDB.contoso.com

I do not have Enterprise Voice installed, although on lync client startup it will prompt for credentials that are needed specifically for Response Groups. Why is this happening even though Ent. Voice has not been deployed, as well as how do i go about fixing this.

    Much thnx.

  • Hi freakisna,

    Here’re some suggestions for you.

It may due to the Kerberos authentication account. Please try to remove and recreate a new one. For details, see this post.

And Lync file share changes may also lead to this issue. Try to create a new one and republish it.

If possible, try to reinstall web components.

Moreover, provide another post for reference. Hope helps.

  • Hi,

this may happen due to permission problem in share folder. Check below thread which answered the same question. That resolution might work for you.
