Reporting Services report relative document path? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

is it possible to setup an SSRS report in PPS to use a relative path instead of a full URL?

my sharepoint site as 2 entry point, so when the user access from the internet the URL is not the same as the intranet URL.

so the URL to be used is different but apparently PPS doesn't change the URL to the correct one, so my internet users cant see the report.

    what can I do?

  • The reports should work since SharePoint uses relative URL for its content.

Are you deploying through PPS or manually adding content to SharePoint page?

Go to the deployed page on SharePoint, edit page and view the PPS report webpart's settings. The location property should have a relative URL.

  • I'll do another try

but here the problem is not sharepoint or SSRS.

The problem is PPS create an IFrame to display the report, and this IFrame use the URL save in the dashboard definition. apparently the system did not try to change this URL to a relative one or to the current DNS name.
