Office365 Message Encryption, mail archived in CRM system. RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a company who wants to sendt encrypted emails to receipients outside the organisation. The email is then archived in a CRM system.
The employee who sendt the email can open the email in the CRM system, but the other employees is unable to open the email archived in the CRM system.
Both employees are in the same company, and in the same Office365 tenant.
Is there a way to open that employees in the same organiztion can open encrypted emails, sendt from other employees?

  • Hi Hakon,

In general, decryption requires an encryption key that only authorized users have. Encryption helps ensure that only authorized recipients can decrypt email messages and files.

If another employee is not an authorized user, he is unable to open these encrypted emails, this would be an expected behavior.
