Window Location RRS feed

  • I've noticed that when you move the taskbar to the left side of the screen, on top, or on the right... it periodically messes up the window location. For example, I'll have a window completely to the right of my taskbar (which is docked on the left side of the screen). I'll minimize it for a while. But when I come back to that window it restores in a new location. the left side of it is hidden under the taskbar. I'm wondering why it can't remember my window's location when the taskbar is in a different part of the screen.

  • Hi Kenyard

There are several bug reports associated with the behavior you are seeing.

These are all attributed to the new Taskbar design.

We should see a fix in the final version or possible sooner with a compatibility update.

    Hope this helps.

Thank You for testing Windows 7
