  Thanks Scott! But it is for Search .. I wanted for Normal List View & Prevent Users from viewing other's items.  Can it be achievable?

  Hi,

  For External list, Item-level permission is not supported:

  As a workaround, you can populate data from this External list to a custom list, then you will be able to use the Item-level permission feature on that custom list instead.

  Also, I would suggest you submit a feedback to the SharePoint UserVoice Platform if there any expectation about the future version of SharePoint:
