  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm getting this error message when I try to open a document.

I'm using SharePoint 2010 server, and my laptop is running Windows 10, 64-bit, with Office 365 and Office 2016 apps (plus MS Project 2013) installed.

    Can you help, please?

    Thanks.

  • Hi Ahmed,

Thanks very much for trying to help.

I see that there are issues using IE, so I'm trying this with Firefox and with Chrome browsers, both the most up to date versions, and I still have the problem.

I've run the hotfix, but it says there are no products affected by this package on this system.

    Any further ideas?

    Regards,
    David

  • Hi David,

Did you install the hotfix in the article below? If so, make sure the hotfix is installed in the server which installs the office 2013.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2726997/description-of-the-office-2013-hotfix-package-owssupp-x-none-msp-june

And if the issue still exists, re-install office 2013.
