Mail Alerts configure in ticketing software for send and reciving RRS feed

  • we are using exchange 2016 we have  one ticket software .customer have configured mail in ticketing software , software capable to download mail form exchange and create a ticket and send to respective engineer as well as users ,

    Customer ask me for receiving setting for exchange server 2016 mail download . at the software for reciving setting two protocal are there  impa and POP3. please suggest for what is receiving setting and what port use for receive the mail from exchange

  • Do you really expect us to know the settings on your servers? If you already have POP/IMAP configured, the easiest way to get the connection settings is via OWA -> Options -> Mail -> Account -> Pop and IMAP settings. If you haven't configured them yet, fire up the EMS and follow the steps here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/clients/pop3-and-imap4/pop3-and-imap4?view=exchserver-2019
