Change lookup table RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everybody.

Is it possible to change the lookup table in a custom field?

When i open the custom field to edit it the combobox for lookup tables is deactivated. If i try to choose "text" i get a "unknown error".

    Need again your help! :-)

    Thanks a lot!

Without hacking into the Project Server database (not recommended at all, by the way), the only way to handle this is to delete the custom field that is attached to the wrong Lookup Table and to create a new field that is attached to the correct Lookup Table.  Hope this helps.

  • What if the custom field is a built-in field - e.g. RBS field-.

How can I change the Lookup Table value for the RBS field?

  • Hi Nuri, I would look at restoring the Enterprise Custom Fields - assuming you have done an administrative backup, you can easily restore them.
