Phone Number Display Problem RRS feed

  • Hi, I have a couple devices a CX700 and a CX3000. For our DID numbers we are having a problem with how they are formatted on the phone. For some reason they keep switching how they are displayed.

    In AD user config the number is +(111)-222-3333 which is how we like it to be displayed on the phone.

    However for some strange reason, the phone is alternating between that number and +1112223333 which is not good.

    What would be the cause of this swapping?

  • The number + (111)-222-3333 is not a phone number of E.164 format, it will not be appear in Lync. I think it is the same with Lync phone.

  • Lync is pulling in the number just fine. I am not seeing any normalization rule errors. I am having identical problems to this person:


    Further investigating it seems when the phone does a "Web Search" the number will change back to the unformatted variant. Is there a way to fix this component so it send the phone the correctly formatted number?
