  • Hi,

Upgrade means moving from your existing operating system to Windows Server Technical Preview, while staying on the same hardware. For this release, upgrade to or from Windows Server Technical Preview is not supported

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt126134.aspx

As other mentioned, clean install without no issue.

  • Hang,

Milos and Vivian are correct that TP1-2 upgrade is not supported for Server.

That said there were a couple of bugs around the logon sequence that we thought were addressed in the release,  but it would be good to make sure this is not related.

Could you try pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL at the black screen?

    Thanks,

    Tom
