Current Storage Used report RRS feed

  • Question

  • MOSS 2007

When viewing the content database size using the Site Settings > Site Collection Usage Summary report there is a discrepancy with the size listed in the report and the size of the content database in SQL 2005.

Does anyone know which tables are excluded from the usage report? For example is the AuditData table included in the report?

  • Hi,

Is this by design? If so, I believe this is wrong.

I currently have a content database which is 11 GB, but it reports that "current storage used" in SharePoint is 6 GB. When I check the versioning table in the content database, I see that it contains more than 4 GB of data.

So, in my opionion, the "current storage used" should at least contain the storage being used for versioning. Also, what about the quotas?  Does it check against the size in the DB, or the counter in SharePoint?

    Comments?

    Regards,
