docpush Missing input attribute:"mime" RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I use "docpush" to crawl file on local server.

    but it throws a error.

    PS D:\FASTSearch\bin> docpush -c fast2 d:\file\Samsung.doc

  • It seems like an issue with 'Document conversion  error'  although add operation finishes.
    You can get the entire doctrace and do a push for this document that you can see the entire stack, i,e:

     1.enable doctrace and debug
        -bin/psctrl doctrace on
        -bin/psctrl debug on
    2. Do the docpush
    3.Issue doclog command:
       doclog –a >output.txt
    Review the output of the output.txt from above and you can  turn off debug and doclog :
        -bin/psctrl doctrace off
        -bin/psctrl debug off

    Does this happen to specific documents or all documents, including other mime types say pdf?
    Could you put a spy stage before and after Processor IFilterConverter stage and compare them...see the blog below about spy stage:
