  • When adding and issue or changing the status to an Issue, it is not updating in PWA without Publishing the Project.  This happens only in our Production Area and not to Project Documents.

    In Dev when an issue add it automatically kicks off a job in the Queue call Reporting (Project Sync) when you add an issue, this only happens in Production when you Publish the project.  See below screenshot:

    In Production nothing shows up in the Queue when you add an issue and they don’t show up in the users Issues/Risks area nor as an Icon in Project Center until you actually Publish the project schedule.  During publishing the Reporting (Project Sync) does kick off and pushes the Issues to the user’s Issue/Risk area.

    We are running SharePoint 2013 and Project server 2013

  • Hi,

    It may be the case that some of the SharePoint timer jobs were not created when the PWA was provisioned.

    Try to re-provision the PWA instance and see if that would help (edit the PWA instance in SharePoint Central Admin without changing anything)
