Detect time of last user interaction with the OS (win7 & XP) RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi

I have searched for 2 days and didn't find any solution to my problem.

I have to detect the time of last user interaction (mouse and keyboard) and it have to be done using a VBscript if it is possible, and in a second step it has to send this report to a log file.

Any suggestion will be very helpful for me

  • Hi,

Someone posted this question before, and the proposed solution is coded in C#.

    Getting user idle time

    Hope that helps.

  • Thanks for writing, but I have specified that I want it on VBScript because I have to monitor some PC within a domain and this version is to be seen only by users

  • Hi,

If you want to achieve it by VBscript, we’d recommend you ask script forum for professional solution:
