JetStress is taking so long time RRS feed

  • JetStress is taking so long time even i mentioned test duration only - 1 hour.

    is it normal ?

    do we need to run db checksum comuplsory ? and what is impact if cancel in middle?

    i have Infra is - 4TB*29 disks * 8 servers ...JBOD connected. Lets talk for single server for now.

    Quick answer is really appreciated.

    Welcome to our forum.

    It is normal to take 1 hour to do those testing. If you are working in a complex enterprise with large scale, complex storage infrastructure budget between 4-6 weeks for Jetstress testing. The time was decided by Exchange complexity in your organization.

  • You don't need to do anything, everything is optional.  You need to decide what you need to do.

    I can't tell you whether it's running a long time or not since you didn't really tell us anything.
